Investment in new machinery at Celtic Linen

This morning Celtic Linen’s engineering team started installing our latest investment in machinery at our Hospitality Linen processing plant at Drinagh, Wexford.

Three new gas powered dryers are being installed as part of our Vega production line, capable of washing and drying 1.8 tonnes of sheets and towels per hour. The new dryers will lead to a higher quality finish and greater capacity to supply towels and bath robes to hotels throughout Ireland.  As they will run on Natural Gas, we will reduce both our CO2 emission and our particulate emissions. It’s a part of our long term campaign to reduce Celtic Linen’s environmental impact.
