In 2013 Celtic Linen successfully achieved certification to the European EN 14065 RABC standard for the wash and management processes employed in their Workwear Plant. This latest award follows Celtic’s achievement of the same RABC standard for their Healthcare Plant in 2010 and the ISO Environmental (ISO 14001) and Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) awards for all their plants.
The RABC standard is based on identifying risks associated with contamination and recontamination of hazards like bacteria. Procedures and controls are put in place to ensure that contamination is removed and items are not recontaminated before being delivered back to the customer.
In order to achieve the standards necessary for our workwear rental customers, all of our plants operate in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard.
The workwear plant provides fully traceable Workwear Laundry Services and repair facilities for industrial workwear. Celtic Linen’s workwear plant operates to strict hygiene policies and has an inbuilt track-and-trace system allowing for garment traceability. Every garment is assigned a unique bar code which is used to track the garment and catalogue a full wash history throughout its lifespan.
As Irelands innovator in workwear processing, our ongoing investment in technology allows us to upgrade as customer needs change.
