All washed linen is transported in an overhead bag system to the appropriate calendars and folders, to avoid unnecessary contact.
The conditioned items, such as scrubs, sheets, pillowcases, nurses uniforms, etc. are ironed through calendars at a temperature reaching 180 degrees C. They are folded automatically and transferred for shrink wrapping and packed in enclosed trolleys providing a double barrier system against recontamination. Fresh linen is then loaded for delivery to hospitals nationwide by our award winning transport fleet.
